Located next door to Katherine's family farm with nothing but a barn remaining, this fixer upper tempted the whole family for years. Abandoned decades ago when the backyard double wide became home to the former owners then renters, most would tear down the remains with not a second though to the vintage finds strewn throughout. Instead, it's on its way to becoming a home again.
Christian and Katherine McClure have always loved fixing up a house, but taking on a tear down as a fixer upper is a first. With a lot of help from friends and family plus subcontractors, these two are also working to share the journey with you.
This so-called tear down was like a time capsule with the fun finds of the 1980's and earlier strewn through every corner of the house. From Sears Catalogs to Cabbage Patch dolls and Snoopy figurines, we'll be offering vintage finds for enthusiasts soon, but our current focus is on the fixer upper begging for help!
Restoring a fixer upper most would consider a tear down. Looking for help along the way, so feel free to reach out through contact page. Also happy to discuss what we've learned if you are also fixing up an old house. Vintage finds will be for sale soon, so bookmark our page.
